exit stations. We combine accessible operational point-of-sale monitoring for ground staff with detailed supervisory financial analysis and control for management. Convenience, adaptability and security are the objectives; streamlined operation is the outcome.
The iPark Carpark Management System had been fully designed and is manufactured in Australia by CDS.
Ticketing Solutions

Entry Station
Designed to support multiple-entry car parking applications.
Casual Users issued on entry with durable, barcoded, printed time and date, ticket or recycled PVC Smartcard.
Permanent Users can choose from a number of front-end access readers: e-tags, proximity, magstripe, contactless and contact smart cards.
Visitors can access tenants’ parking bays through pre-assigned, authorised PIN numbers that generate barcoded entry ticket.
Pre-booking service enables motorists to reserve a car
parking space by credit card, or mobile phone.
Help Assistance is provided via in-built intercom.
Exit station
FAST Car park EGRESS made easy through multiple
unmanned payment solutions.
Casual Users visit the ‘pay-on-foot’ self-service kiosk to obtain their Receipt and paid Exit pass or they can present their entry ticket at the unmanned exit station and pay the displayed fee by credit card or by mobile phone.
Permanent Users exit by presenting their proximity, magstripe, contactless smart card or e-tag ID.
Visitors Exit by presenting their entry ticket. Client pays the car park fee.
Help Assistance is provided via in-built intercom.
Manned cashier exit station
Provides a personal face to the collection of parking fees from departing motorists either at the exit booth or at the central car park office.

Operation An attendant presents the driver’s entry ticket to the scanner, which calculates and displays the parking fee.
Cash drawer opens when a receipt is printed, and the boom gate automatically opens.
End of shift the operator balances the cash drawer contents using the POS terminal to generate summary reports for their location.
Pay-on-foot payment kiosk
Provides casual users with an unmanned parking payment service
prior to exit.

MANNED PAYMENT SYSTEM
‣Car park attendant receives entry time and date stamp barcoded ticket from the motorist.
‣The ticket is scanned and read by the car park validator unit.
‣The time and date and unique ID number printed on the entry ticket is validated and compared against details stored in server.
‣Parking fees and charges are calculates for time spent within the car park.
‣Car parking charges are displayed on a LCD display viewable to the motorist and attendant.
‣Motorist pays by credit card or cash in exchange for a receipt.
PREPAY BY WEEK OR MONTH
‣Motorist prepays for car park use.
‣Each entry and exit is validated by either, proximity, barcode, smart cards or long range hands free readers options.
‣Every entry transaction is charged against the users account with value balances displayed.
UN-MANNED EXIT STATION PAYMENT SYSTEM
‣If payment is not made at Pay-by-foot or APS the follow option is offered.
‣Motorist inserts their valid barcoded ticket into a slot at the
carpark exit station terminal.
‣The amount calculated for the time spent is displayed at the
exit station terminal.
‣Motorist inserts their credit card into the same slot as the entry ticket. Transaction is completed in 4 seconds.
‣Car park charges billed against each motorist’s credit card.Motorist receives a receipt and the exit boom gate opens.
PAY-BY-FOOT CAR PARKING SYSTEM
‣Motorists pay with coin, cash or credit card prior to exit, by visiting a ‘pay by foot’ kiosk located within the car park.
‣Their entry ticket is validated when the payment transaction is completed and the motorist now has a pre-set amount time (say 20 minutes) to exit the car park.
‣Upon exiting, motorists insert their valid ticket into the exit
station terminal, which opens the exit boom gate.
CDS introduced at the APC08 Show in Melbourne, Australia the world's first "Environmental Friendly (Paperless) Recyclable Smart Card Ticketing Solution.
Operation of the Smart Card Paperless Recycable Ticketing Solution:
1. Smart cards with embedded time and date stamps are issued to motorists on entry via entry dispensing stations.
2. Patrons when leaving the site, go to AutoPay Stations which are unattended and self operating
3. Autopay Station LCD screen indicates parking fee after the user inserts the entry smart card into the allocated slot
4. The patron pays by coins, notes or credit card for the displayed fee with receipt issued and entry smart card returned once payment is made
5. The patron drives to the exit station where the smart card is inserted into designated slot and is deposited into the recycle bin for future re-use
Smart card can be used for multiple applications including customer loyalty program where retailers
and patrons can benefit from repeat patronage.
The Rockhampton City Council has installed a
CDS Carpark Management System into the new Carpark Redevelopment at Rockhampton Airport.
